There are a few things that players need to do in order to unlock Mirror Mode. Luckily for players, we've done some rigorous testing to figure out how exactly to unlock Mirror Mode in Mario Kart World. Here's a step-by-step of everything players must do to unlock Mirror Mode:
Once players have collected the necessary items from Free Roam and completed all Knockout Tour and Grand Prix courses, they will then need to complete one final step. The final step to unlocking Mirror Mode in Mario Kart World is to complete the Special Cup Grand Prix on 150CC, which unlocks only after players complete all 7 other Grand Prix tournaments. Once players complete the Special Cup (winning is not needed), they will be rewarded with a secret ending cutscene to Mario Kart World that has Mario and Luigi witness the world become inverted, AKA, mirrored. After which, players can head into VS Race or Grand Prix and select the Mirror Mode option for every race available.
If players have completed the steps above and completed the Special Cup and have not unlocked Mirror Mode, then try heading back into Free Roam and collecting at least 10 ? Panels, and total up the collection to 100, meaning players will need to have P-Switches, Peach Medallions, and ? Panels that total to 100, not 100 of each. Then, try the Special Cup again.
